The Energy Summit of 2003 and Enigma Films

Update

On AA Legends Justin Edwards posted: “…Mike and I both were accused of faking Ms. Hamou’s Energy Summit pass. Even when we showed that the pass had been photographed years ago, among many other related documents, still it was claimed a fake. We were interrogated on this forum on a daily basis and any time we forgot ourselves and published letters from anyone in support of our position or other information “someone” would contact the various person(s) and told them the story “reported” here, that Oma Hamou is under investigation in a Missing Person Case (which was never true) and various other things. For example when we mentioned about Oma going to Russia, one of the first things that came from Mike Piles was --- what agency would grant Oma a VISA as she is a criminal…It’s this kind of interfering with someone’s right to travel, to earn a living and exhibiting the same modus operandi as Bob Atchison and Rob Moshein…”

QUOTE MIKE NEWSON: "...This is just one of many well documented letters to one of Oma’s business colleagues I pulled from Oma Hamou’s lawsuit with Bob Atchison, Rob Moshein and Pallasart.

Notice at the bottom of Bob’s letter to the one of Oma’s business associates he informs them: “I have contacted the US State Department who told me they will advise the US Embassy in Moscow regarding this….” Yet the US State department informed Oma’s attorney that none of its representatives had ever said this to Bob --- so why make the statement as if it had happened? Although, IF the US State Department Talked with / Agreed with “BOB ATCHISON” then certainly “whoever” should also believe…

Bob called the US State Department after he viewed this letter on Sarskaia’s website:

Unbeknownst to Bob Atchison and his people, Oma Hamou had been invited to participate in the second Energy Summit by both the Russian and US government which involved the Alexander Palace and some other buildings. Often Oma’s projects and her name were in the press and on television which made Bob Atchison extremely jealous - remember Bob filed his original lawsuit against Oma in August of 2003 claiming she had slandered him in the Russian press yet he couldn’t offer one shred of evidence that this had happened. Not one Russian newspaper or elsewhere linked his name with Oma Hamou, Enigma Films or Sarskaia yet he claimed it had happened in court documents but in truth it never did, and “they” could show no evidence to support this claim. http://omahamou.com/PDF/BobAtchisonOriginalLawsuit82303.PDF

THE APO BLOG: As a note, one is not allowed to roam inside of the World Bank complex without proper clearance which means Oma Hamou had to have a specific appointment with a specific person in order to gain access.

QUOTE OMA HAMOU: "...When I formed Sarskaia a different world opened up and wonderful things began to happen. I found myself traveling to Washington D.C., lobbying my foundation's efforts to rehabilitate the city of Pushkin's historic core. I went there to raise awareness of the importance of Enigma's film project and what this one project could do. It wasn't easy because people just didn't care about restoring buildings in Russia. I went to Washington D.C. knowing that they all knew the good, the bad, and the ugly about my life, I didn't lie. I came from an honest approach, and my persistence paid off because soon after I was introduced to different organizations that could assist me in providing technical and logistical support in the rehabilitation of the city of Pushkin’s historic core.

When I met with the government officials and the religious leaders, all the rumors that Bob Atchison and his associates were saying about me worried me made me afraid. Afraid that they wouldn't take my projects or me seriously. I wanted to make sure that both the US, and Russian governments, the financial institutions and the Moscow Patriarch all understood that there was a perception, a negative one, about me. And instead of worrying about it, they were sorry that I had to go through all that. It was so outside all the negative things that were being said about me. They just knew me as someone that worked hard.

Russia is an ancient region that has given civilization so much - in science, mathematics, culture, and religion. I have learned that knowledge and the exchange of ideas are the key to not only our cooperation but to our collaboration. We can all make a difference. Learning about our countries and cultures - and respecting their values and aspiration - is imperative. We are linked in so many ways: not only by trade and finance, but also by migration, environment, disease, drugs, crime, conflict and - yes- terrorism. We are linked - rich and poor alike - by a shared desire to leave a better world to our children. There is nothing more satisfying when you help others, if you can help a child, a family, if you can help restore a church, or a palace, build a school or do something to make things better for other people, it just feels better!

After almost a year of hard work I received a letter of support from the US State Department. It was an honor to particpate in the Second US-Russian Energy Summit in St. Petersburg, Russia. When my staff posted the US State Department's letter on Sarskaia's website, Bob Atchison called not only them but other governmental officials both in the U.S. and in Russia and told them that I could not be trusted, that I had no film project, and that I was fugitive on the run. None of what Bob said was true. However, there is great power in the printed word. Once published on the Internet, broadcast on TV or talked about it is capable of becoming accepted as fact and unfortunately much of what has been presented by Bob Atchison and his associates strays far from the truth. The misinformation, because it is negative and colorful, seems to have greater staying power. There comes a point where you have to draw a line in the sand and say, like the character Howard Beale in the movie Network, "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!"

For years I tolertated Bob Atchison's attacks, merely wanting him to stop, but this last vile vicious attack has brought me to a level of seeking the fullest legal remedies available to me. We live in a country where all people are supposed to have equal rights, but it is also a country where we all have to be vigilant to protect those rights. I know that having lies told about me or having my name published on a website is but a small problem compared to the struggles that so many people go through every day. I do not pretend to compare my problems with the inequalities that exist on a larger scale, but I do think that standing up against injustice in our own lives is part of becoming active participants in our communities and in our country. Excerpts from Oma Hamou's Affidavit:

"...Enigma & Sarskaia are real companies with real projects – companies that have vision and values, companies that people are proud to work for and with, companies whose employees and those who worked as an independent contractor worked very hard to do the right thing each and every day they came to work, people who cared about and gave their time and talents to make Enigma’s & Sarskaia’s projects work. What Pallasart and its associates did to Enigma, Sarskaia has caused tremendous hardship for scores of Enigma & Sarskaia’s associates in both the US and in Russia. Many of these same people have continued to support Enigma & Sarskaia’s projects even though there has been no income, simply because of their belief in the dream. This has caused hurt to many as they continued even after the funding was disrupted before seeking other income. The belief in the project was too strong in all of us to give up..." http://www.omahamou.com/pdf/affidavit/affidavit.pdf

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Bob Atchison/Pallasart's actions appears to have impeded the progress of Enigma/Sarskaia's projects and did cause each to suffer great economic hardships all because some one over at Pallasart believes HE owns the rights to the Alexander Palace and Nicholas II - now that's pretty creepy!
